The problem

Too many vendors. Too many contracts. Not enough time.

Most businesses never set out to build a complicated technology environment. It happens one decision at a time.

A new location needs internet. The phone system gets replaced in a hurry. Someone signs up for a new software tool. Mobile lines get added and never removed. Over a few years, a business ends up with a long list of providers and contracts, each with its own bill, support number, and renewal date.

  • Internet providers
  • Phone platforms
  • Mobile carriers
  • Software subscriptions
  • Contact center tools
  • Technology contracts
  • Support vendors

What is usually missing is one trusted resource looking at the whole picture. That is the role 314 Telecom fills.

Most businesses don’t need another technology vendor. They need someone who can help them navigate the vendors.

How 314 helps

One advisor from the first question to the next renewal.

We stay with you through the full life of your technology, not just the purchase.

  1. Evaluate

We learn how your business runs and what you already have, then define what you actually need.

  2. Compare

We identify the providers and approaches that fit, and lay them side by side in plain language.

  3. Negotiate

We push for competitive pricing, sensible terms, and the flexibility to change as you grow.

  4. Implement

We coordinate the provider, the timeline, and the details so the switch does not land on your desk.

  5. Manage

We stay on as your resource for renewals, new locations, billing questions, and whatever comes next.

When contracts come up for renewal, locations change, or needs grow, the cycle starts again, with someone who already knows your business.

Why use a technology advisor?

A buyer on your side of the table

Many businesses do not realize this kind of help exists. Here is the short version.

Without an advisor, buying technology usually means calling providers one at a time, sitting through several sales pitches, and trying to compare quotes that are structured differently on purpose. Each salesperson represents one company.

314 Telecom organizes that process for you. We already know the market, which providers fit which situations, and what reasonable pricing and terms look like. You make the decisions. We do the legwork and advocate for you.

Going it alone

  • Separate calls and demos with each provider
  • Quotes that are hard to compare
  • No benchmark for fair pricing
  • Support issues land back on your team

With 314 Telecom

  • One conversation about what you need
  • Options laid out side by side
  • Pricing measured against the market
  • An advocate when something goes wrong
  • Save internal timeWe handle research, calls, and coordination.
  • Compare multiple approachesNot just one provider’s product list.
  • Understand market pricingKnow what reasonable looks like before you sign.
  • Negotiate smarter contractsTerms, flexibility, and renewal protections.
  • Reduce unnecessary spendFind idle services and billing errors.
  • Avoid vendor confusionOne point of contact across providers.

And after the sale, you still have someone to call.

Provider ecosystem

Technology from providers you already know. Guidance from someone working for you.

We work across a broad ecosystem of carriers, platforms, and service providers, so recommendations start with your needs rather than one company's product list.

Questions

Common questions

Something else on your mind? Ask us directly.

What does a technology advisor do?

A technology advisor helps you figure out what you need, compares providers and solutions on your behalf, negotiates pricing and terms, coordinates implementation, and stays involved afterward. Think of it as having an experienced buyer on your side of the table.

Will I have to switch providers?

Not necessarily. Sometimes the best result is better pricing or terms from the provider you already have. Our job is to find the right answer for your business, and that is not always a change.

What size businesses do you work with?

We focus on small and mid-sized businesses, from single-location companies to organizations with dozens of sites. Many of our clients do not have a dedicated technology purchasing team, which is exactly where we help most.

Do you only work with businesses in Utah?

No. We are based in Utah and work with businesses nationwide. Most of our work happens over video calls, email, and shared documents, and we coordinate with providers wherever your locations are.

What happens after a new service is installed?

We stay involved. We help with billing questions, support escalations, new locations, and renewals. The relationship is meant to be ongoing, not a one-time transaction.

What should I have ready for a first conversation?

Nothing is required. If you have them handy, a few recent invoices, a list of current providers, and any known renewal dates help us get specific faster.

Get a second opinion on your technology.

A consultation is a conversation, not a sales pitch. Tell us what is working, what is not, and what is coming up. We will tell you honestly where we can help.
